Success for Newport player at Bowdon
Newport member
Jim Potter came away with the Sheila Black salver in a competition at
Bowdon Croquet club in Cheshire. You can see photos on the Bowdon

Newport gain revenge over Colchester
Newport managed
a 4-1 win against Colchester South in their final Essex-Suffolk league
match. Full results here.
31st August 2011: Newport lose
narrowly to Colchester
The Essex-Suffolk league
match between Newport and Colchester North ended with a 3-2 victory
for Colchester. Full results and a short report are here.
16th July 2011: David has
a Ball at B-class
Newport's B-level Golf
Croquet tournament was won by David Ball, of Leighton-Linslade, with
Newport's Denis Saville taking the runner-up spot. A photo of the (damp)

16th July 2011: Bury prevail
in deluge
The Essex-Suffolk league
match between Bury St Edmunds and Newport was abandoned due to torrential
rain with the score 2-0 to Bury.
19th June 2011: B-Level
tankard goes to Letchworth
The B-level
association croquet tournament was won by Letchworth's Nick Mounfield,
who won four out of five games. Runner up was Phil Windred, also of
Letchworth, also on four out of five; Nick won the tournament by virtue
of his win against Phil.
11th June 2011: Ipswich Whitewash
The Essex-Suffolk league
team recovered their form with a convincing 5-0 win over Ipswich. Read

22nd May 2011: Ian Parkinson
wins SuperB Tournament
The super-B tournament
at Newport was won by Ian Parkinson of Watford, who won 5/5. Full results

7th May 2011: A losing start

league team lost their first match of the season, going down 6-1 at
